I thought I'd share part of an IM convesation I had with CMoney, about 2 days before the February tournament.

You're easy to bluff.
CMoney said:
hehe... I think not :)
Mojo said:
Whatever you say man :)
CMoney said:
Especially in a rebuy. You don't remember my stories from the Bellagio... calling that guys huge river bet with KK... after the ace on the turn. $600 bet.
Mojo said:
You're perfectly fine against strangers... It's against people who know you, that's where you can't compete.
CMoney said:
I never play the home game "right." If I did, I'd be raising almost every hand to $5 preflop all night long.
Mojo said:
I'll give you $1 if you even place in the first tournament.
CMoney said:
shit... I went into the last home game rebuy tournament and took it down, on a single buyin. With Rico playing, and my boss.
Mojo said:
Where the hell was this? Because I find it awful suspicious that nobody else has heard of it.
I'd like it especially noted that this last tournament, I didn't have to pay CMoney the $1. Not even close really. His pair of fours (with an ace kicker!) got beat by a straight flush. After 5 rebuys, and the add on.
I might not have played my best, and my hands may shake a bit... but they're shaking with $76 of CMoney's cash, all the way to, well... probably a liquor store. But still, $76 buys a decent bottle of Scotch.

In my defense of play in Tourney 1, I was stuck twice in a spot extremely short-stacked and getting more than 10:1 on calling. Someday I'll teach you about pot odds and tournament strategy so you'll understand better why I was in there with A4 :). Oh - and Jod hitting a gutshot draw on the river to take half my stack really didn't help much either. "I'll be back"
